PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides is a polyethylene glycol derivative of a mixture of mono-, di-, and triglycerides of caprylic and capric acids with an average of 6 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a water-loving, thin, transparent liquid that functions as a gentle emulsifier and solubiliser, helping oil-soluble ingredients dissolve evenly in water-based formulations. It has a pleasant skin feel and is particularly popular in micellar cleansing waters.
