Polyquaternium-10 is a cationic (positively charged) cellulose-derived polymer used in cosmetics as a film-forming, antistatic, and conditioning agent. It creates a protective, moisture-retaining film on the skin and hair, improving manageability and softness. It also functions as a viscosity controller and thickener. It is considered an excellent hair conditioner and is widely used in shampoos, conditioners, and skincare products.
