Silanetriol (methylsilanetriol) is a small, water-soluble organosilicon compound with the molecular formula CH6O3Si. It functions primarily as a hair conditioning agent, improving hair strength, elasticity, and manageability. In skincare, it is used for its ability to support collagen and elastin structure, contributing to skin firmness. It is one of the few silicones that is water-soluble.
