Polymethylsilsesquioxane

Polymethylsilsesquioxane (PMSQ) is a synthetic silicone resin powder formed by the hydrolysis and condensation of methyltrimethoxysilane. It exists as ultra-fine, white, spherical particles (typically 4–6 microns) with excellent flow and water-repellent properties. In cosmetics it functions as a soft-focus agent, texture enhancer, and sebum absorber, creating a silky, blurring effect on skin while temporarily filling and diffusing the appearance of fine lines and pores.
