Sodium polyacryloyldimethyl taurate is a synthetic polymer used as a thickening agent and emulsion stabiliser in cosmetic formulations. It creates smooth, gel-cream-like textures and works effectively across a wide pH range with good electrolyte tolerance. It is commonly sold under the trade name Aristoflex AVC.
