Rice Starch

Oryza Sativa Starch (rice starch) is a high-polymeric carbohydrate derived from the peeled seeds of the rice plant (Oryza sativa L., Poaceae). It functions primarily as an absorbent and mattifying agent, soaking up excess sebum and oil on the skin surface to create a smooth, shine-free finish. It also acts as a viscosity controller and bulking agent in powder-based and creamy formulations, and is widely used as a natural alternative to talc.
